Limousin is made up of three departments: The Haute-Vienne, Creuse and Correze. It is one of the most rural regions in France and is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the ‘Real France’. The village of Saint Germain les Belles is 4 hours south of Paris (270 miles / 425 km) and 30 minutes south of Limoges (22 miles / 35 km), the ‘capital’ of Limousin, in Haute-Vienne. The village is conveniently located just a 10 minute drive from junction 42 the A20 motorway, the main route from Paris to the south of France. After a quick change across town, Limoges is only a few hours away on a fast inter-city service.
